It is employed in horizontal conditions to be operated at relatively slow speeds. It moves items that cannot be conveyed easily using rollers or belts due to their irregular shapes. It can also be utilized in different assembly operations by modifying it to accommodate the assembly fixtures.

A radial stacker conveyor is a large piece of industrial equipment used to sort bulk biomass material into piles. Bulk material such as biomass is dumped onto the conveyor and the belt carries the material to the end of the conveyor where they form on the ground.
